The heart song of Ce Moment Photography are in-home newborn sessions. Approached in a gentle and nurturing way, these session focus your newest addition in the context of your growing family and home. Honest, emotional, intimate and authentic images that reflect the delicate yet sometimes wild, always fleeting, moments of having a newborn.
These sessions are what really what started it all. My children, my sweet boys, were the beam of light that shined on the quiet little seedling in my heart that said I wanted to be a photographer. Each moment with them was the only one like that, and the days slipped into weeks, then months and suddenly they were sitting up, and crawling and….and there goes my baby.
I took as many crummy cell phone snaps as I could, and I love those still…but the few professional images I have of my newborns and babies… well those make my heart swell. I can just sit and stare at those images, and I recall all the emotional memories etched into my spirit from those early, early days. Those portraits mean so much to me, and I knew I had to make these treasures for others too.
Pricing
Newborn sessions take about an hour, and include your choice of 20 images from a full gallery, for digital download. These sessions are typically held in the comfort of your home, to best represent the early days of babyhood. If you prefer to not use your home, lifestyle studio sessions are available at a variety of locations for an additional fee.
Ce Moment Photography believes in the power of print. Let your kids put their hands on memory books, deck the walls with your favorite images as print wraps or framed portraits. A full Shop is available for museum quality prints of your portraits. A $50 print credit is included to get you started.

Experience
Each session is about an hour long, flexing a bit for baby’s needs and comfort. We move about your home looking for the best light, the spots you frequent the most, the nursery you spent lots of time and love designing (even if baby doesn’t sleep there yet).
I take time to photograph the parent(s) with baby, sibling(s) + baby, the whole fam, and baby by themselves to catch all those teeny newborn details.
It should feel low key, comfortable and organic. No rushing, no heavy posing- just an hour to snuggle and fawn over your new baby.
